Our Mission

Mission Statement of the Jewish Advocacy Council (JAC)

Founded by Joshua Ezra, a born and raised New Yorker who has seen antisemitism firsthand—most notably when attacked by students at Columbia University while helping Jewish students safely get to class—The Jewish Advocacy Council (JAC) was created to fight back.

At JAC, we are dedicated to combating antisemitism on three critical fronts:
🔹 Politically – Advocating for policies that strengthen protections for Jews worldwide.
🔹 On the Ground – Providing direct support, security training, and legal aid to those affected by antisemitic violence.
🔹 Through Social Institutions – Challenging misinformation, holding institutions accountable, and fostering unity across Jewish communities.

The horrific events of October 7 were a stark reminder that antisemitism is not a relic of the past—it is a present and growing threat. But let’s be clear: antisemitism did not start on October 7. From the pogroms of Europe to modern-day hate crimes, it is a disease that mutates but never disappears.

We refuse to stand idle.
We refuse to be silent.
We refuse to let history repeat itself.

For too long, Jewish organizations have lost their way—focusing on politics instead of our shared survival. The world does not ask if we are left or right when attacking us—they see us as Jews. If we cannot stand together, we will fall alone.

JAC’s mission is simple but urgent: to unite every Jew—regardless of background or affiliation—because fighting antisemitism is not a left or right issue. It is a Jewish issue.

Antisemitism thrives on division.
We won’t let it.

The future of Jewish safety, dignity, and survival depends on our collective resolve.
Never again is now.
