Who We Are

Joshua Ezra – Founder of The Jewish Advocacy Coalition (JAC)

Joshua Ezra is a New York native who has long been involved in advocacy for Jewish rights and the pro-Israel movement. Throughout his career, he has worked alongside various organizations to strengthen the Jewish voice, but after October 7, 2023, he felt an urgent need to build something new—a movement that would unify Jews of all backgrounds and take direct action against antisemitism.

Recognizing that existing Jewish institutions often hesitate or fail to respond effectively to rising antisemitism, Ezra founded the Jewish Advocacy Coalition (JAC). His vision was to create a home for every proud Jew, regardless of religious or political differences, where the focus would not be on division but on strength and unity.

JAC’s mission is centered on three key areas: Political Advocacy – Working to implement policies that ensure Jewish safety and defend Israel. On-the-Ground Action – Providing legal aid, security training, and direct support to those affected by antisemitism. Institutional Accountability – Challenging universities, media, and organizations that enable antisemitic rhetoric and attacks.

Ezra’s leadership has quickly made JAC a recognized force in Jewish advocacy. On April 10, 2025, JAC will coordinate “Tekiah, Shevarim, Truah – The Jewish Call to Unity,” a large-scale gathering outside Columbia University, a location that has become emblematic of antisemitism on college campuses. Inspired by the biblical story of Joshua and the walls of Jericho, Jews from across the community will come together to sound the Shofar as a call for strength, solidarity, and action.

Through his work with JAC, Ezra has brought together a diverse coalition of Jewish organizations and is committed to ensuring that Jews stand together in the face of rising threats. His leadership reflects a belief that the Jewish community must move beyond politics and refocus on what truly matters—protecting and preserving Jewish life and identity.

Ezra continues to be a leading voice in the fight against antisemitism, working to make sure that “Never Again” is not just a statement, but a reality.
